The recently-released JLL High-Tech Office Outlook was featured by the popular commercial real estate website GlobeSt.com today in an article that also featured some compelling insights from one of our resident tenant rep experts, Bobby Goodman.
Goodman tells GlobeSt reporter Brian Rogal that “Chicago has hit the map” as a bona fide destination for high-tech firms. He credits the establishment of the 1871 Chicago co-working space for digital startups as one of the key factors in the city’s emergence:
“That’s the one group that they’ve heard of; it’s a big, nationally-recognized flag. People around the country have started taking us seriously. We’re growing and we’re starting to take a bigger piece of the pie.”
